Anyone use the SL Ultra Lite line? I'm thinking about getting one. How is it? Anything bad about it?
Or if you absolutly recommend getting a floating line instead, what are some good floating spectra lines for around $60-$80? |

Hi, I've used the Ultra light and was pretty happy with it. Only downside was that it had a tendancy to tangle (but what rope doesn't?) Overall, I'd recommend it. If you're in the market for an accurate jacket series line, give Craig at Surf and Offshore a call (1-800-442-6754). Tell him Rob from Wisconsin sent you, and see if he will cut you some kind of deal.
Good luck with that, let me know how it goes.

Thanks. Did it tangle during a session, like in the water when the boat was coming around and everything? Or was it that it tangled after bringing it back in the boat? I can deal with it tangling in the boat, but it would be a pain to have it tangle while I'm in the water after the boat has come back around. Thanks for the info. _________________ A successful person is a dreamer who someone believed in |

| Spend the extra $20 and get the Straight line Viper. It does not tangle like the ultr lite. |

| I use the Straightline Ultra Lite line, and I love it. I used to ride with some old 30 dollar rope from canadian tire, so that also could be why I love the SL so much. I paid 150 canadian for my rope, and I think it was worth every penny. Handle was included and I love the rope. Very low stretch and it has a braided part near the handle which makes wrapped tricks that much easier. Very good rope IMO, but I havent tried many other ropes, so my opinion is a little biased. |

It only tangled when bringing it back into the boat. Good luck whichever way you decide to go.

| OK, this may be a stupid question, but is the Ultra Lite a non-stretch line or a very low-stretch line? Some descriptions I've read says that it is zero stretch, and other descriptions say that it's low stretch. |

| I think the material they use to make the line is called "zero stretch" something or other, and then the rope itself is low stretch. I dont think its possible to make a rope that doesnt stretch at least a little bit...or I could be wrong? |
