|
My new wife and I went wakeboarding the day after our wedding in our wedding clothes on the Fox River near Chicago.
100 degree rule:
Water Temp: 49 degrees
Air Temp: 51 degrees
But... cloudy and very windy.
The $5 Tux Loss/Damage Waiver was 1000% worth it.
Her dress seems to be drying pretty good.

jvanick, very cool bro. I'm sorry I couldn't have been a part of that yesterday, however, I am very thankful that you let me be a part of your wedding. You have also given me the coolest wedding gift ever! We should have took a picture of all of them. I'll get a picture of mine tonight and post it here. (He bought everyone in his wedding party a wakeskate and had the bottom airbrushed with our crew's logo and name. Very cool!) _________________

That's cool man. I wish my wife rode, we could have done that. My new boat came in the week before we got married and me and the guys in my wedding party went out the morning of the big day. I got them all matching SPY sunglasses that I had engraved with thier names and the date. But those boards are sweet.
Congrats |

jvanick, that's really cool!
This past summer we were out at the lake and we saw a lake shore wedding about to start, then out of no where two black x-stars came to the wedding and dropped off the wedding party on the dock. Then a Malibu VLX whips the groom (In a full tux!) in on his board, he rode all the way to about 2 feet of water where two buddies grabbed him before he sunk and the wedding ceremony began. Pretty much the coolest thing I've seen.
Gotta tell ya, seeing the bride out riding in her dress is right up there!

That wasn't her real dress. Her real dress would make The Flying Frenchman jealous.

i've always thought having the vicar in a tube, then bride and grom on boards five feet behind would be a very cool way to get married. its the way i dream of it..... only problem right now is getting the girl i'm with to wakeboard _________________ A bad day at the lake is better than a good day at work. |

Geoff Standish,
That sounds awsome. I bet i the setup was right the guy could have road to shore and just slowed down alot and jumped on a tarp or something slick,
Like, have a water pool go to the bride on a skate so he just jumped off.. |
