Who in IL lives around Peoria, or lives within a few hours driving distance? I was accepted to Bradley University and I'm just wondering if there are a lot of people who board in that area or not. If you're from around that area, send me an e-mail or something. I had originally planned on going to ASU, but unfortunatly in high school I was apt to not take foreign language so that screwed me over. So in order for me to go there now I need 8 credits of foreign lang and 3 credits of fine arts according to them. But whatever, I've heard Bradley is a far better school. Anyways if you're from around that area let me know Smile

You can always come out with us. We usually go out in Round Lake. Last year I met up with Patrick Adams and his crew and there's the Midwest Militia. You can send an email to me. Patrick usually reads the posts and would probably respond. You can get the Militia by going to their website http://www.midwestmilitia.net/.

I'll be going out in March if the weather cooperates. Drysuits and toe warmers Twisted Evil

Whats up John? I don't know if you remember me, but I was in the boat as your spotter at Winter Waterland. Thanks bro, where is Round Lake in relation to Bradley?

WinterWaterland.....It could have been more fun if I'd brought gloves and didn't freeze to my bindings. It was hilarious getting drug off the dock and carried to the hot tub. I wish I had some video and pictures of it.

Bradley is a bit of a haul. 100 miles away. We are planning on a lot of 3 day weekend trips down to Illinois River and any place we can find where there's butter. I am not too familiar with the area around Peoria.

100 miles is like an hour an twenty min drive, not to bad. I would do it for riding. I drove two hours plus for winter waterland Smile. But yea we'll definitly have to hook up and ride. I don't know where anything is in IL really except for Chicago and Napperville since I was born there. Maybe when I come down one of these breaks from school I have to check out Bradley we'll have to go ride or something too!

Welcome to Central IL. Go Braves! I'm about an hour up 74 from Peoria, just NW of Galesburg. One of the places I ride is just off Interstate 74 near Knoxville, called Oak Run. Although I don't own a boat, I have several friends that I ride with and we're always looking for more people. Shoot me your contact info when you get settled and I'm sure I can get you some pulls.

I beleive Peoria has a decent wakeboarding scene, but I don't personally know any boarders there. I know there's a lot of partying going on down there on the Illlinois River, and many of the locals own or have access to boats, so check the local marinas and boat shops. Congrats, keep in touch, and good luck.

Alright sweet, I'll do that too. I was kinda depressed when I saw they didn't have a water ski club or anything, but they do have a ski diving club which I think I may have to participate in.

Haha it's all good. I'll just have to drive and ride with you guys on weekends or something. I don't knnow how far away the IL river is from Bradley, but we could just meet there too. We'll figure something out. I'm just makin sure that there are plenty of boarders around there for me to chill with. Smile
