I don't get it, why do some people find fakie-shuvs easier than normal shuvs? If it is fakie, then you are pretty much just doing a normal ollie (like a switch nollie, right?)

For the same reason some people think heelflips are easier than kickflips. Nobody knows. I personally don't like fakie shuvits ever since I planted on my back the last time I tried.

Yes, fakie ollie is basically a switch nollie.

bs shuvits are generally easier for everybody becasue your back leg goes behind you. a bit easier to guide the landing. the thing with heelflips and kickflips is the way people are used to setting up their feet.

not for me, i feel much more comfortable in the kickflips stance but i find it eaiser to kick my foot forward rather than sliding it up and back
