| I have been riding for a year now and am progressing slowly. I am able to clear the wake sometimes now, and am looking for a board where I can get better on. I am 6ft, 250lbs. What board do you think would be best for me? I am going to stick with the bindings I have now because they fit perfect. I was looking at the Fish from Liquid Force. Let me know what you all think. Price really is not an issue either. |

I would wait until I hear some more news on the fish. That board is sooo different/revolutionary it could be AWESOME but it could also suck hard.

The Fish is really a great board, but I wouldn't generally say that it's a good board for a fairly new rider. On the other hand, I had a guy out on the Fish this summer who's at about the same ability level as yourself, and he loved the Fish. There's a new size for 2006 that I'd recommend for you- the 137. You'd probably be ok on the 133, but the landings would be more forgiving on the 137. _________________ Mike Dick
