I am looking for some ladies' opinions on this one...I'm getting my girl a new board/binding package this year (it will be her first real season riding, only went 2x last year) and I have no clue what co.'s, sizes, or the likes of girls boards are decent. So any help is appeciated.
She is 5'7 and 130lbs, mainly will be freeriding, and something she can progress on because she catches on to things easily..
And can you believe the Burton Vapor is $900!!!! Damn wakeboarding and snowboarding are getting ridiculously expensive... _________________ JN |

Best advice is to go out an buy the Transwold Snowboard Buyer's Guide, to see what is out there. There's million new boards out there, I'm not up on Women's boards so I can't help you out. Also go to a reputable shop and get some info. Price is also a huge factor too, how much you looking to spend? http://www.transworldsnowboarding.com/snow/buyers_guide/app/0,14297,,00.html |

Ok, here is a ladies not very expert Opinion:
148-150 would probably be a good size. As for companies, I've ridden a Burton before and really liked that, have a morrow board right now and it is alright, pretty light weight too. Hopefully that helps you out |

Roxy makes a pretty decent board from what I am told, manufactured through mervin. She will need to try on several pairs of boots before deciding on pair, then take those boots and find a binding that fits nicely. Good Luck _________________ Hold up....Wait a minute....
