On the main page of wakeboarder.com, in the upper left coner is the BOARDFINDER..a good way to find boards that will match your size, and ability. _________________ Be an organ donor! My father is alive today because of kind souls that donate life... |

e420x, Why are you partial to LF or HL? There are other brands out there that are just as good. Look at CWB, Obrien, Double Up and Blindside too. Just because HL and LF have the biggest pro team doesn't mean they have the best gear _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

My local shop recommends the HL Motive or the LF Trip. I'd go with the 140. Demo if you can. _________________ i have mastered the art of the wipeout. |

e420x, way to go... You can be yet another rider who prefers to go with the "trendy" company. I have been with CWB now for 7 years and love their products. _________________

Mr. Top Hat, see, you mentioned another problem as well... He wants to start with the strap on now after wakeskating... I board more than skate, but I am just like 100 times better with the board. _________________

Dude, for your own good, DEMO. And look beyonf the big names. The only time I buy HL or LF (accually, I never buy HYPErlite) is for bindings. I <3 mt LF Transits and I'm getting a pair of teams. I ride an O'Brien now and I'm buying a CWB. If you demo and really like a HL or LF board, by all means, buy it. But try out all the boards.

I could see the pop part of the description of a byerly but the last thing that board has been described as is fast.

Ive got a LF Balance 135 and it suits me just fine. I didn't buy it for the name, just for the way it felt. _________________ 2006 Liquid Force Fish 125 w/ Hyperlite 3DS boots |

| I dont think for a beginner you can go that wrong, at least that is what it seems like. All companys make decent gear. I like to support my local shop which carrys limited brands and I think that if you buy from a local shop and end up not liking the board it will be easier to return or exchange it. I wish my local shop carried CWB |

UncleSam, as he said you cant really go wrong, i rode on mates boards for the first few months and then got an 04 cwb prodigy which i thought was prob a bit over the top for beginner board but its turned out tops, only tip i can give u is to get good bindings that are comfy, wont come off every stack and wont break, check to make sure the tongue has straps sewed all the way along it to stop it ripping, thats a bitch when that happens. _________________ its coming into summer and the weathers Bubb Rubb wicked so i figured i'll be hitting the beach, look at skinny dippers tittys and get sumthin 2 eat |
