try to land on your edge more, like edging away from the boat.

make sure u rotate enough, a little more than prarllel with the boats path and land on your toeside edge. Don't look at the boat though, look more out to the side you are going to.

The HS 1 was the third that I learned. I started with TS 1 and then switch HS 1. I can do them fine now of course, but I still think the others are easier.

take the rope from your front hip and glue it to your rear butt cheek, then land on edge and ride away. _________________ Mark Kenney, 1983-2002

Everyone does that same thing when first trying, it is a lot easier to fall back then it is forward. You need to go for it, you will have some faceplants at first. Best tip I can think of is to not focus on your board and feet being in the right place, focus on pulling the rope to your back hip and making sure that you are getting your hips completely parallel to the boats path, don't focus on where your feet and board are.

Yeah... When you hit the wake, wait until your peak to start rotating 180's. Once your rotation is finished, get on your toeside edge. Landing heelside can cause the board to slide out in front of you. _________________
