Bruce works for watersports. He was the jerk that tried to say that the owners of the nautique dealership were A__holes. I haven't seen the boat around either of their locations. Notice how he laid low for a month or two after that un called for comment?

looks like no carpet in the boat? Plus I thought the dash was going to be different? I wonder if that is the pre production one?

those pics don't show a platform either. Maybe the dealer installs carpet and platform?? Or maybe they ordered it with no carpet??

The dash is different from the prototypes and looks a lot better now.

That looks exactly the same except for the extra plastic piece, with the two gauges in it, that is under the three gauges on top.

How is it a lot better?

Just got back from the tour and the boat actually looks really good on the water! The wake is also very nice looking! The wake didn't really look any better than my wake though, so we'll see. The dash is absolutely grotesque though. Puppy Eyes

I drove by WaterSports Marine today. They do have a black 03 X star there. Wasn't too impressed with the black one though. Then again, I haven't warmed up to any part of the boat yet.

I think that dash is dope. It is well laid out and easy to read. I dont think I would ever cap on an X-star. The snap in carpet is way better, just take it out and hose down the deck. Razz

well they had the 03 Xstar at the protour, and the dash dont look at all like that, but i will say that boat is sick, and CC better start making a new boat ... cause the wake was perfect, you could tell even some of the pro were amazed how big they were going, speically on the womens double up part .

CWBbruce is a boat salesman, working at a mastercraft dealership. I doubt he actually bought it, its just in stock for the dealer.

If you saw some of his past posts, you'd know he deserves to be slammed anyway.
