Figured i'd get your attention in the most productive way possible.
So yeah, now that I have your attention. I've just began wakeboarding, getting into wakeskating and i'm really fascinated with the both and would like to expand my horizons and move into skateboarding as well. I've just turned 17 and i'd just like to know if it's too late for me to get into the sport. I just really don't want the oppurtunity to pass me by while i'm still in my youth and have regrets later in life. Thanks in advance for your time and comments.

eklipse, as long as you're not afraid of shedding a little skin on the asphalt you'll be okay. i used to skate a lot in high school, stopped through college and tried to pick it up again. i grew a lot, so all my muscle memory dropped out the window. i can still pretty much do everything, but my timing is way off and sometimes it just one of those "what the heck was that?" moments.
you could also try one of these: http://www.streetboarder.com/. feet are locked in so you get that wakeboard feel. if you've got a park nearby you can try your inverts too. check out some of the video. |

i wreckon if you get in a solid week of practicing ollies. it will be a pain in the arse(literally) but once you get them down its really fun, when u have them pretty solid you can practice pop shuvits 180's and ollie over stuff. _________________ i love lamp. Crikey |
