early 2006, possibly for christmas at the earliest. They are tryin gto find ways to keep costs down because as of right now, the suggest retail is around $500 while the XBOX360 is coming in around $300.

is it really not coming out early 2006? i heard xbox was coming out late november with 2 models, a 300 dollar one, and a 400 dollar one. the 400 dollar xbox is way worth getting cuz all the accessries it comes with addup to over 200 dollars if you buy them seperate.

The second comes with a bluetooth controllers, a remote, and a hard drive. The first comes with one wired controller.

I'd definitely get the wireless controllers. My couches are a good 15-20 ft away from the TV.

I'm planning on getting one of these systems. I just wonder if it's best to wait and see if there's a mod chip out for them to install a bigger hard drive or copy games to the HD. Is the PS3 really going to be around $500? That's rediculous. I'm going to have to spend another $2-300 in accessories on top of that too..

its all about marketing techniques, if i say its 299 it wont register in their mind that is really 300 bucks. those bluetooth controllers look nice. same with the tv recording software.

can't wait to see when the first modchip comes out for these things. Twisted Evil
