Just take a PA speaker made from normal paper and steel. Get some well thinned down celulose laquer and paint it onto the paper. It will need 5 coats. The laquer will impregnate the paper and make it solid and waterproof. Do not paint the corrigated surround or it will stiffen up and the speaker will become useless. It is already coated in gluey stuff.

Paint the magnet and chassis with several coats of black paint. Now your $20 pa speaker is fully water resistant. It will be a lot more efficient and more reliable.

Good luck
