Hello everyone,
I am about to undertake a complete interior job on my rig. I am good for vinyl and wood but I am very ignorant on the best quality and comfortable carpeting. Does anyone know much if anything about this?
Could someone recommend a good company that produces good carpet??
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!

Also talk to local upholstery shops... They recommended some stuff they use in boats... about $100, but worked and looks great. For glue, I used the glue Home Depot sells for outdoor carpet... That carpet ain't moving - ever.
I used something called Metallic Grey - looks really dark inside, but take it outside, and the silver strands grab the light and make it look light. |

tmbrown,
Thanks man, I hadn't thought of trying that. I was gonna have the interior done at a shop over the winter because I will be deploying to the gulf but they want around $3500 and that is without touching the carpet. I figured for that kind of money, I am gonna give it a shot for myself first. I have the tools and a garage fridge full of cold beer. It should come out fine... I will post as it goes down..
Thanks again for the input.

That's seems just a lil high, but still in the range... I paid $2,500 for mine... he did a little bit of carpet, but I'd done most... but he had no templates to follow for mine - it was 100% custom built seating (I did provide the foam though and any carpet he needed).
Sounds fun - good luck on the project, and in the gulf... |
