Has anyone put a pylon on a waverunner? If so, what was your process? _________________ PICTURE ME ROLLING |

I have not, but I think you can buy them for the waverunners....At least now a days it is an option from the factory. _________________ If you do not like your job, you don't strike....You just go in there everyday and do it really half a$$ed.....Now that's the American way - Homer Simpson. |

as someone who has both ridden behind and pulled someone on a waverunner, it is highly unstable on cuts and would most definitely tip over if you were to put something like this on it:
if you really want to pull someone behind a waverunner, just do it from the tow loop on the back.. otherwise you're all going to be swimming..
then again.. if you just want to hit sliders and launch platforms, you will be all good....... but that is pointless then. |

You see, my problem is that my grandfather has a lake cottage in indiana which i go to every summer and he has three boats, he has a big chapperal deck boat which he doesn't allow anyone else to drive other than himself, we have waverunner, and '68 boston whaler with a 10hp motor on it which isn't enough to pull anybody. When my grandfather isn't willing to take us wakeboarding, we take each other behind the waverunner but because the rope is only a foot off the water, its really hard to get air. _________________ PICTURE ME ROLLING |

I know with the wakeboard edition Sea-Doo that has a pylon it has flipped over several times when pulling a tube. Busted my knee on it pretty hard this weekend when it flipped over. The above WakeDesigns PWC tower never seem to catch on.
No for just pulling wakeskaters it works excellent but it's only a few inches above the seat. I think a tall pull point will never catch on with PWC's as they are just to narrow to take the side load. _________________ Founder of Monster Tower Wakeboard Towers
