As I'm sure you all hate these threads, but I am not sure what kind of rope I have. I have been thinking about ordering a Straight Line Blazer rope to replace it, but I was not the one who bought this rope so I have no idea what I will be upgrading from and if it is worth it.

Here's a few pics of the rope:
(ignore the ghetto handle grip modification, it was a one day fix.. I just ordered a byerly handle. If you are curious it is a rubber placemat gorilla glued to the aluminum bar with duct tape to hold it on, Razz).

And a pic of the above rope in action, just for good measure:

Yeah... I wakeboard behind a waverunner but my college wakeboard club is scrambling to get a new boat so hopefully soon I will be riding behind a real wake.

I have no idea how much was paid for the rope, or the brand, or what kind it is.. like Poly E or whatever. Please help me identify that rope!

a crappy one? im not sure what kind that is but it looks like it's probably not non-stretch, maybe worth $30-40. The blazer line will definitely be an upgrade

It looks like a stretchy ski rope to me probably not worth much at all....especially since its used.......If your looking for a new non-stretch line check e-bay, the Bullet lines on there are awesome and cheap (compared to competetors)

wakeside has got straight line blazer's for $55, cheaper than the ebay bullet lines for $49 + $10 shipping. I think I might jump on that today to go with my new byerly. The rubber placement has got to go.

I'm assuming Blazer and Bullet lines on ebay are about the same quality?

Thanks, I try. You know the funny thing is it actually worked pretty well for a grip. Not something I would use regularly, but it did allow me to get on the water that day.
