my life would absolutely be complete if I had this thing in my back yard.

Sorry if it is a re-post.
I remember seeing this years ago, there are lots of atrifical surfing waves, but these guys nailed it.

How much would it kick ass to have in your back yard? Screw half pipes! Up your block party with this badass invention...

I would never leave it.

some older video:

http://www.wavetheplanet.com/html/video.asp#

there is a special on Discovery channel running, I saw it last week after they aired some wakeboarding contest. If you get a chance, watch it I was glued to the TV. Catching 8' of air on this thing, rolls, 720's, absolutely sick.

mgswed, the regular flowrider can be professionally installed for as cheap as ~$500,000.

The wave-house with the curling wave is a franchise only opportunity and I think they want at least a million for the whole thing. They also have requirements on having the stadium seating etc.

mgswed, they are cash cows though. There is like a cult following. People travel hundreds of miles for tournaments. It is just so much fun.

It is not designed for home use. It's meant as a commercial product. If you contact them they'll send you a brochure with a lot more info.

the pump pushes 100,000 gallons of water per minute.

I want one in my back yard I tell you.

the older ones were not nearly as good as this sucker.
With the new boards they are using, it does not appear to be tricky to stay on Smile

Heck I might even sell my boat if I could have one Smile hahaha
