Couple of new bands worth looking at

Was at the Warped tour Friday and then hit up a special afterparty. I know there is often chatter about what to listen to, so I thought I might contribute some new stuff. All the bands have websites so just google them up and most have some clips you can listen to as well.

I liked MXPX, and at the aftershow, they did all covers which was pretty cool. Evrything from the clash to Tom Petty.

Hawthorne Heights...was very impressive at the show. Also, the Dropkick Murphys. Not usually my style, but they were a great show. Bagpipes and some unusual style both in music and lyrics.

Sadly missed the Offspring since they went on early, the Transplants were the last band and we had to leave for the aftershow. Also managed to miss Fallout Boy. But I got to wakeboard in the morning, so all things being equal it was a good day.

My personal favorite new band is Funeral for a Friend. Their new album, Hours just came out and its amazing. Also Senses Fail had a great album out.

You should check out a newer band called Shaker.
You can hear clips at www.shakerworld.ca
They are currently recording in the states and will be touring a bit while down there.
...They've replaced the drummer who plays in the clips on the website.

From First To Last, Senses Fail, The Unseen, Offspring, and The Matches played the best at Warped Tour Dallas this year IMO.
