I am in the process of building a 7-foot kicker and i wanted to know if you can ride with fins on the kicker or if it is preferable to take them off?? thanks for any imput. later bros

What kind of top are you putting on it.pvc pipes or sheeting??

you can leave fins on them, just make sure there not huge, just small fins, i used to hit kickers all the time with all 3 of the Trip fins in my board, just make sure there small and it will be fine

dude use something flexable like pvc sheeting(if i'm thinking right linolium bathboard is flat and not flexable) and put a litlle transition into the ramp. kickers are cool but without transitions they just aren't quite the same.

You're in Chicago? I'm in Milwaukee. I'll drive down to check out this kicker sometime. I would suggest 1 inch fins or smaller. Otherwise just ride a board with step down rails. That will do the job.
