Ok so my neighbors who just bought me a new board and are in a way making me do this local contest that they call "phat wednesdays." And the first one is in 2 days. The only time i have to practice anything is tomorrow afternoon for a couple hours. For those of you that have entered contests or know anything about them, is there anything you can think of to get me some points or any secrets about contests. I dont know much about this or how their judging. But if anyone has any advice of what to do or NOT do, please let me know. Im about an intermediate rider. I can ride switch alright, do ts and hs 180's and surface 180's and lipslides and stuff and some grabs but i just need to know if there is anything specific for my riding that would be good to do to score big and impress the judges. Oh and if it helps or makes any differece at all, im a 17 year old girl. So e-mail me at Sportyj10@aol.com if you have any suggestions.
THANX!!!

| Basically you don't do the same tricks over because they don't count second time, take everything as big as you can, if you don't feel confident with a trick its probably not a good idea to throw it. You will most likely fit 4-5 wake tricks in each pass. I would go with hs grab, ts grab, hs 180, and ts 180, then maybe lipslide the wake. second pass mix it up with different grabs and if you 180 do it switch or grab it. |

| I think it looks good it you start out simple with stylish grabs this gets you comfortable and in the groove behind the boat, and then link your better, more difficult tricks back to back. Good Luck. |

I always like to start off with a few easier tricks to get used to the wake and then in your last two tricks of the first pass and then your second pass throw more difficult tricks. _________________ www.soswakeboard.com
