Need Air

I started wakeboarding about 2 weeks ago. I was an avid skier but there is only so much you can do on skiis! I have a Liquid Force Omega (143) w/Liquid Force Alpha Bindings. I can already nail heelside jumps with about 2-3 feet of air. I cant seem to get anymore air. I am taking harder cuts into the wake. A buddy of mine said dont bend the knees when I hit the wake, but is there anymore advice anyone can give me? Oh and anyone got a little advice on toe-side jumps? Havent got brave enough yet to try them, but for when I do? thanks

Your cut should get progressively stronger as you get closer to the wake so your line gets tighter. Straighten your legs when you hit the wake, don't bend or you'll just absorb the pop. And keep the rope low at your hips as you release off the wake.
