Why are some of you so concerned about your post count?

Seriously, no one cares about how many posts you have except yourself. When people visit forums, they want to read well-written, detailed posts. Not two to three word posts that look like instant message conversations.

I'm not saying short posts should be eliminated, I'm just saying they shouldn't become a priority. Respect will be earned by what you say, not how often you say it.

The quality of your posts shouldn't change just because the forums changed...

I agree. A lot of the posts lately have been completely useless. People start conversations, and post 3 times in a row with one sentence in each post. Its obvious they just want to get their post count up. Combine everything into one post and only say something if it truly will add to the forums.

I totally agree Nik, the quality of posts is being diluted by the people who post uselessly. Maybe we should make a topic where people can just keep all their flooding to one topic so it doesnt affect anyone else....but that would be wishful thinking.

Content will get better as it gets around to wakeboarding season for most people again. When they're not riding, they talk less about wakeboarding.

Also, I suggest that people who want to talk about wakeboarding, start topics about wakeboarding.

Moderators do and can delete useless threads, but people also get all worked up everytime we delete something. It's hard to make things work both ways. However, I'm locking this thread, because it's a useless discussion at this point.
