You guys seen the new Hellfish BEST is putting out? Anyone order one yet? This might change everything about what we think of kite material and wind ranges. _________________ TONA

I haven't seen one yet, but its hard not to hear the hype. I'd imagine that it does everything they claim, but my worry is how long will that kite hold up after being folded up everyday after riding. Reminds me of the constant delamination issues that plagued all the old kites. I'm gonna wait a couple years and see what issues (if any) come up with this kite. Then I'll think about converting. Too bad Best couldn't sell the hellfish at the same prices they're selling their other kites at. For that cheap I'd have already ordered one instead of the 12m Nemesis I just bought. _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail. I saw it at VG. I was pretty amazing. Its does do what it claims. However, I will wait as well. They will make improvements on it as they get more experience with the material. _________________ TONA

Just got my 21m BFK after waiting for best to get their act together for 2 months. They still left out my 25m 5th line (bridle was on the kite already) but i jerry rigged it yesterday using a 27m line off another bar.
I would be more angry if the kite wasn't so dame awesome, kind of strange getting used to but a ton of fun riding my small board in 13 knots fully powered. |

Yep, that makes it all worht it! I havent had any problems with them, but Im here in the states. I tend to be more lenient with them since they are doing something different to benefit us in the first place. they never hesitate to make things right, either.
It sure is more fun progressing in 13kts than it is riding a barge or sitting on the beach, huh? _________________ TONA
