Everytime I try this trick I land all crunched up in a ball, wobble then fall over. What I do is start at the wake, cut heelside out as hard as I can then switch my edge and pretty much cut toeside a bit and throw it. I was just wondering if there was a optimal time to switch edges or if you cut toeside for a bit. I just am hucking it right now and hoping for the best. I'll try and get a vid because i'm not even quite sure what i'm doing. any suggestions would be good.

..Air tantrum hey.. how far are you getting around?? Have never tried them in the flats but I imagine they would look pretty cool. I dunno if there is much you can do to get more 'pop' cause you dont have much to work with... I suppose you just gotta get it round and hang on and pull it out..

I would think that you would alread have your speed to rotate like a normal tantrum from cutting out and that when you switch edges you would have to ollie when your board flattens out to get that 'vertical' height that you need to get the tantrum around.. nonetheless it would have to be a pretty balled up tantrum to get it round.. let us know how it goes

I can do them, I wouldn't say you should cut out as hard as you can. Cause if you try and cut out to hard, you can like skect out and that can effect how well you pop off the water. I would say you should cut out only has hard as you feel comfortable getting good pop. I had the same problem you had. You can either try and huck it harder, or try and get better pop. It feels much much cleaner if you can get more pop and you'll probably more consistant. I remember seeing Shaun Murray do them and he didn't really cut out that hard at all. So you just need to get the feeling for the pop. Hope that helps.

thanks everyone,
toughnuts88, This will be my fourth year riding. I learned pretty fast, you'll be out landing a bunch of new tricks this year too if you stick with it.
