It seems all of you have a real wakeboard boat.
Is there anyone who has a SeaRay with tower or Pylon?

Wakeboarder44, I have the same exact boat and I agree a Sea Ray does the job just great. Add 800 pounds of ballast, a monster tower, and you have a nice ride. Rufio, isn't a boat a boat?

Diggs, I agree.

That is one ugly ass knot right there.

This is my beast - 95 240BR

It has a POD on it now. Not the greatest for wakeboarding, but it sure cuts through Lake Mead chop well.

One of my friends used to have one way back in the skiing days, anyone board with one now?

The guy riding actually owns that boat. We decided that the SN 2001 threw a better wake, so he was riding behind that while we were filming.

WakeBoarder44 - I didn't take any pics of the sub and amp installation but both fit perfectly under the passenger console. Which worked out great since the head unit in located in the glove compartment. I'm guessing yours is too?
How did you mount your pylon?

KurtInCincy,

yeah, my clarion is in the glovebox.
I'm also looking to install some amps and a subwoofer this summer.

My Pylon is mounted on a baseplate.
then braces to the back (which takes some space on the back seat)
as you can see in the 2nd pic

Personally, I like the way a Sea Ray looks with a pylon....very sharp wakeboarder44.
My buddy has a 19' sea ray with a pylon as well. We just started to use it this season as our wakeboard boat. I must say I was suprised at how well the wake could be worked. We use about 1,200 lbs. ballast- one bag up front in bow, and one in middle. We have an pylon as well, with the baseplate not screwed down. The side arms are drilled in, but the base plate is just screwed into an plywood baseplate we made that sits on floor. This makes covering the boat simple- we just loosen the pylon rope clamp up front and fold it down. We have the arms and pylon alot closer to the front than you do too. The pylon sits right in the middle actually. I'll try to get some pics up of the set-up.
Our wake is not exceptionally great when we go out with just the 3 of us, but if we get one more and put that person up front.....it's sick. Without that person up front, I still have as much fun as tho it were a malibu I were riding behind. I have gotten sick height....enuff to do flips...good enuff for me!! Very Happy
