First off, try taking a small cut, like 10 feet maybe, try popping UP more instead of across the wake... also try taking it 1 wake at a time, it makes the handle pass easier, then take it bigger progressively. Also keep the handle in really tight to your back. If you can do a TS 180, try the TS 3, it's easier than the heelside 3 because of the tension in your back hand, but just remember to wait for the pop from the wake before you start your rotation. If you've got all this down and you just can't seem to pass the handle, then try passing the handle on land with a rope all day until it becomes second nature and you don't have to think about it. Goodluck, peace.

Those are great tips strychnine. But please Mobe789, please tell us you have consistent hs 180s. I know so many people who skip the 180 and go straight to the 360. Don't be that guy. Wink

2 good methods to practice passing the handle:

- Going about 15 mph, ride directly behind the boat and do some surface 360s. The resistance is much stronger than 360s in the air, so your muscles will get a real good feel of what they'll need to do to get the pass in the air. Wrecking at this speed is nothing to worry about either.

- Try 360s off of rollers. Instead of hitting the double up, just hit the roller and try a quick 360. One-wake 360s are good for this too.

Remember that when you're doing the 360 wake to wake, don't rush it. Start the move by pulling all the way through the 180 with BOTH hands on the handle. Think 180 to 180, don't try to finish the 360 as soon as you leave the wake. Good luck!

2 tips for wot it is worth from me:
1. cut out wide, but don't put any egde on at all. just let it bring u back in. you'll have pace to clear both wakes, and helps me not build up too much line tension.
2. i think about taking off on my toes to flat, feels like it just gives you a little fwd motion to make handel pass easier.
anyway, just passing on what i heard from others and works for me. not sure how good it is technically! good luck.

hopefully this helps. i went down to Tim Keepers house this winter in florida to ride with him for a week and he help me out a ton (tim is a pro as of last year) practice like your doing your regular wake to wake 180. dont try and land this in the flats. put your hands close together in the middle of the handle while you take off so the handle doesnt come away from your body. take the same edge and the 180 but this time pull the rope with both hands to your hip. dont worry about spinning, worry about the handle. then just reach around and grab it. since you pulled the rope as hard as you could there should be slack in the line to make the handle pass super easy. it helped me out a TON. gl hf peace Laughing
