Centrider, that big cable has 2 pairs of wire inside of it.
Esentially, you cut it about a foot or so from the boat side, drill a big ol hole in the side of your boat and a smaller hole in your tower and run the wires and mount the plate using screws and silicone.
I thought of buying and using that for a recent install, but I opted to wire it from scratch. The only difference is I have to go back and install an AMP or Neutrik connector in case my buddy wants to take the tower all the way off (highly unlikely). _________________

Thanx you, i had a feeling you would be the first to help me out, that you very much for ALL your help.
But im a little confused, do you cut the THAT wire, if so, wont the plug come off"? If not then where do you insert the wires. SOrry, i know that may sound like a dumb question, im just confused. _________________ You know how we do....... |

I agree with Chavez. I would rather pull the wires back through from the amp in the rare case that I removed the whole tower, than to have a large connector showing on the outside of the boat.
