Jason,
I read about some guys that surf tanker waves in the gulf for miles. Have you ever thought about doing a down winder on those?
Where is that near? _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |

Its off the east end of Galveston I believe. As the tankers leave the ship channel and begin to accelerate, if the tide is right, they put out a large continuous swell. I think you have to ride a ways out to it though. Kinda scary in deep ocean water without some kind of rescue boat. If the wind dies or you break something, you are down in a shipping lane! _________________ TONA

I agree. The guys that were doing the surfing had a small support boat. It would be one hell of a down winder for sure.
There is your next epic journey. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com |
