I was just wondering what everybody likes to ride to: Genre, Album, Artist, Song. And if you have a certain reason why a song makes you feel like you are alot better than you are lets hear about it.
Plus I am looking to make some good mix cds for the summer |

Zack This is probably a top ten subject for being posted. I'd hit up the search function with terms like: favorite and music, music and riding, tunes and ride, etc. etc. I know there is a ton of threads out there, also search in the non-wake section as people post music threads over there too. _________________

wakeboardbum247, I was thinking the exact same thing, and another thing don't rappers in general have the gayest names you've ever heard? Like EMINEM! WTF IS THAT?? OR 50 CENT!! THOSE ARE SOME OF THE LAMES NAMES EVER...
But as far as what we play on my boat it would be:
Fischer Spooner
Stereo MC's (kind of rappish, but it's Australian I think)
The killers
Social Distortion
Rage Against the Machine
The Bravery
Interpol
The Clash
Atreyu
AFI
Avenged Sevenfold
Bloodhound Gang(listen to "sweet as the punch")
Metallica
Hawthorne Heights
Gorillaz(ya it's rap but sounds good on our stereo)
The Used
Muse
ICP
Marilyn Manson
Slipknot
Nazareth
Nirvana
No use for a name
Offspring
Queens of the stone age
Sugarcult
Weezer
Beasty Boys
THE LIST GOES ON _________________

2. The Great Decay
3. Fairytales tell tales
4. Mothership, Mothership do you read me
If you have soulseek, I have the same name as on here, you can just get them off me if you want. |

Sublime-40 oz. to Freedom
One of my favorite CDs of all time. Perfect for road trips, and awesome to ride to.
One of my crew always has to pop in Rick James for his runs. Usually he wants the song "Give it to me" and then he'll start grooving on his board-classic!! _________________ Guess What? I got a fever, and the only prescription is....MORE COWBELL!! |

favorite boat tunes include...
50 cent, get rich or die trying
creedence clearwater revival, i spent two summers listening to that TAPE in my parents boat, cause i always forgot to make my own tapes, brings back good memories
most of my the last few summers have been spend in my friends (parent's) 96 centurion, he would play:
the eminem show
nickleback
pantera
linkin park
last week a different friend bought the 96 centurion, (it got replaced by a 05 VLX) we took it out last weekend, we played those 4 cds and always joked about how we had never listened to this cd in this boat before, but they are good cds.
i also like sublime and have reciently discovered (ok my new chick forced it into the boat stereo) Pepper, it's kinda reminisent of sublime, pop and reggae. check it out. its good chilling in the boat music, but it doesnt get you pumped to ride. |
