if you know how to ride, you know how to ride, It doesn't matter what uber premier model you have. Get something that fits you, and you'll learn to ride. (advise from a friend who was a Ride snowboard sponsored pro gave me when I was snowboard shopping, same goes for wakeboarding). It maybe cheap and simple. saves money for stickers.

actually they have some good beginner boards. They are wide and are very supportive for the beginner rider. Though i would not recommend them for a more experienced rider

show_boy08, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Almost every major company out there makes great boards for all levels of riders. You just have to figure out what you want, and what kind of company you want to support.

Are you saying that hyperlite has as good of boards as other companies? Maybe it's you that does'nt know what you're talking about. And did you look at the other posts, because i'm pretty sure that everyone else is agreeing with me in saying that hyperlite boards are not very good for someone other than a beginner. I used to have a hyperlite and got rid of it quickly when i became more experienced in wakeboarding

show_boy08, Hyperlite has a solid line for all riders, you're missing the sarcasm from the posts above. I'm sure Parks, Harf, Sharpe and Byerly would all agree though, HL doesn't make good boards for expert riders. Rolling Eyes

The hyperlite bashing that occurs on this message board is not related to the quality of their product. Some people feel that other equally good brands are overlooked because they don't spend as much money on marketing. Others find it annoying that kids will buy a Parks just because of the name, although it doesn't fit their riding style at all (in this case, the board is HORRIBLE for beginners and only good for advanced riders).

I learned on a Belmont and have ridden a Byerly a bunch and I really like both of those boards. The Belmont was a 2001 I think but the Byerly was last years.

hyperlite has been an innovator in wakeboards for years a great lineup, its all about the feel and what you want out of a board.
