| you are surfing the wake real nice, poping really well, the only thing is start a little wider and initiate the turn just slighty slowerthen u wont get that bit of hesitation from the slack and the bigges thing is do it all the same and just trow it a little harder. all u needed was just a bit faster rotaion. |

Two things:
1: When you are standing in the trough before you even cut out pull the handle in and down towards your hips and keep it there. It is already too high and far from your body here and will stay that way until you are eating water wondering what happened. Your cut out is fine for a W2W tantrum, but when you are flattening off before you cut back into the wake, make sure that handle is low and still in tight. Your handle position accounts for your interesting body position in the air.
2: You are opening up to the wake fine, just make sure your shoulders are square but the reason you aren't getting that 'kick' your looking for is because you flatten off like 2 meters outside the wake and the board looses its speed. Your cut is a raley-like cut, just try taking a medium cut into the wake, this is plenty for a W2W tantrum, then flatten off as late as you can, the later you do it the harder the wake will 'kick' you.
You might find you over-rotate your tantrums doing this, but this is much better than under-rotating them and all you have to do is let the handle out a little bit to slow your rotation when your spotting the water. Tantrum is all in that 'edge-switch' you do when you hit the wake, once you have it you'll realise how easy it really is.
Cheers,
Cameron

Cameron, that's a great explanation. *Star*
Those were the 2 exact things I noticed. You stopped cutting before you hit the wake and you need to keep the handle closer to your chest/waist. If you look at the video, the handle is almost over your head and it slows down your rotation. I bet if you work on those 2 things you'll land it in 2-3 tries. You're really close. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Try tucking more and getting the handle in more and you should have it _________________ Is What Your Living for Worth Dying for

hey dave, the time I saw you throw it you went bigger and further out but same result, you got all the pop you needed but the rotation was too slow. Keeping the handle closer and lower will definately help you out and if you stay somewhat tucked you should get a quicker rotation.
