Wakesurfing looks like so much fun. Nobody I ride with has one and now that I have the 21V I want to give it a go. I'm 5'11" @ 200#s, any suggestions???

I use the HO Sports Kona. It's 5'-6" long and works well for everyone in the boat.
The main reason I bought it was because it was $100 at the end of the season.

It's not the most manuverable board out there but if you're just starting out, it's fine.

damn 89 skier, that's a good deal. Where'd you get that? Laughing

it's actually the EXACT same board as the original Hyperlite Landlock. Just different graphics

You should try to figure out what kind of wakesurfing you want to be doing. Are you more of a free-rider who just wants to chill back there or do you want to try to do some tricks, shove-its, 180s etc?

I'm not much for doing tricks on a waksurfer. If I want to do tricks I'll pull out the wakeboard or skate. If you're in the same boat I'd pick up any one of the bigger boards. HL Landlock, LF inlander, inland surfer green or blue. I've ridden the inland surfer and the landlock (kona). To me it's more about cost than ridability but the most important thing you should ask yourself is whether you want to attempt tricks or just chill and do some carving.
