i'll be getting a v-ride in a couple of week and i was hoping to get some feedback on the difficulty of installing the dashboard speakers. I know the windshield has to come out, and that concerns me! Am i better of paying for the dealer to install the speakers or can the windshield be put back like new again?
let me know if anyone has had problems with that part of the installation, or anything else i should be aware of before starting the installation.
thanks |

First off, you shouldn't have to remove the windshield. If for some reason you do, it's not difficult. You'll want to remove the weather guard strip, and take at it from there. |

for som reason, i thought i read on these forums somewhere that the windshield had to come out to put them in the "factory" locations. WHen you think about it, makes sense considering that the windshield is so thight to the dash where the seaker would go..
well i guess i'll just have to wait for the boat to come and find out then |
