Anybody know how to edit the voices out of songs? I have Magix music editor and there has to be something in the software for it, but I can't find it.

I think you just have to download the instrumental versionof the song which is just the music and no singing

You can't just take the words off a CD or music you download. Most hip hop and rap songs are just various sampled beats. You could pull that into a sound editing program like protools ect. and trim the lyrics out and loop just the beat over and over again. Very hard work to blend the 2 loops together though.
As to your response to gobig, The recording companies do sometimes offer instrumental versions of some songs and they did not edit the lyrics out. The beat and the lyrics are recorded seperatly so they can make adjustments be fore the final producted is mixed down. once that is done there is no going back.
