|

My tower folds to just about a foot above my widnshield on my boat and last year I was almost hitting the canopy. I have to raise the canopy, this sucks. Right now I'm thinking about buying some new aluminum 3" pipes and butt wielding onto the existing pipes. Anyone had to do this at all? pics... _________________ B-town crew |

You might try doing sleeve joint instead of a butt joint. Might be stronger.
Just find a 6" piece of pipe that has the I.D. the same as the O.D. of the existing pipes and you should be fine. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |

I can't believe you don't have more adjustment on the legs of the canopy. I think mine have like 6 holes in each of them. It looks like you only have one hole exposed so far. This may be a dumb question but did you adjust it that way first. |

I have the legs on the bottom all the way out, and I had to drill holes to raise it up to where it is now. Theres no more metal to go any higher. I called the place where I bought the lift and new mounts that are taller are $400, screw that. _________________ B-town crew |
