how well does just an old wakeboard work, if i'm just wanting to get into the sport would it work just fine, or is it completly different then riding a real wakeskate

its completly different, its not the same effect at all, you can take the bindings off of it, and put some grip tape on it, and get used to riding like that, and get used to not being attached, but it rides totally different

yea i was gonna rent one when i was at ski rixen but all they had was the old boards with the grip tape on them, i figured if i was gonna do that i could just use my old board

o ya, thats right you went, i forgot about that, sry, you dont have to rent those old ones with the grip tape, you could have just used one

whatdayamean srry, yea i know, but i didn't feel like wastin my precious time behind a cable on somethin i could do behind my boat. I can't hit sliders where i usually ride at

i hit the smaller slider and tried the kicker a couple times, the first big one, i wanted to try the one that was down from there but didn't feel like walking
