I'm having trouble pulling down Raley attempts on the tramp. Any tips? Should I gradually build up, or what? I definately want to get this down before getting on the water.

I dunno how well simulating a raley on a tramp will be... seems like the basics will be different, but maybe...

Yea you can do them, but without momentum, they are harder. What you want to do on the tramp, is continuously build it up. Bounce once- raley, bounce twice- raley...etc. After every bounce try a raley it should be a full blown raley after about 10 bounces. That's how we did them when we were first learning them on the tramp, but I could do one on the water before, which is much much easier than on the tramp.

Hey Brad do you think that they are alike. Will it help you if you can do them on the tramp?
And when doing them on the trap just stick your chest out when coming back in and pull the rope towards your chest. Hope that this helps.

Want2ride,
Yea they are similar in some aspects. I would just suggest learning in on the water, it's actually easier. To do a good raley on the tramp you need to understand a raley on the water, you don't have to, but it would make easier. About the air, I do batwings and raleys about 10 feet up in the air on the tramp. We have a really short video on wakepics with us on the tramp, there is an ok raley in the clip. Just search for tramp. Hope this helps.
Later,
Brad

tramp raleys aren't that hard, you just need to get up enough guts to try one. Good luck.

I have found that pulling a hoochie on the tramp is easier than a raley simply because reaching back to grab gives you backwards momentum and keeps the line tighter so that you can pull it back down. Obviously this isn't an issue behind the boat, since it's pulling you forward.

I'm the mack on the tramp too yo---but on the water I'm just another wakeboarder.
I find some tricks just don't function the same way on a tramp and the only way to learn is behind the boat....if you look at the tramp as purely a simulation/air awareness trainer you will not be disappointed...

yeah..it`s a school trampoline that we got here in Norway... It`s great... Yesterday I put up my old in our backyard and it sucks.... I would recomend everybody to try one that we have....Everything is so much easier because you don`t have to use any energy on jumping, and you go way higher...

actually, not trying to steal your thunder here - but Ive never seen a trampoline like mine. I mean Im sure those professional gymnasts ones may be better or wahtever, but as far as average trampolines - nothing Ive seen comes close.
Ill have to get some pics posted of my batwing

That is another thing that I have found on the tramp, the highier you jump the easier raleys are to do.
Has anyone done a oriental on the tramp, I think that is what they are called. That is my favorite trick.

yeah, raleys are way easier the higher you jump. I like doing 515 or a raley to a 540 on the tramp. Adkison is pulling those on the water. Its crazy! I think the batwing 313 would be a 270 but that doesnt matter. its still cool. props
