| I am. That was a great game against stanford and Michigan St. I am hoping them or Baylor wins it. Need some new blood in there. The commentators last night in the tenn. and rutgars game sucked. I don't think they know whats going on or knows the rules. LL |

| I think Baylor will take it. Mich st. has a tough squad this year. I was so happy to see Tenn get beat I can't stand Pat Summit!! |

Tough call, both teams have proven that they can come back from a deficit. If I had money on the game, of course I'd have to go with MI ST. If they can get Roehrig in a have her be dominant they're unstoppable. Haynie can run that point so good.
Should make a great matchup. _________________ Back to back NBA champs. |

| I'll take Baylor. They have more than one inside player. I don't think Roehring had a good game against Tenn and Blackmon is more athletic. The Shimek on the other hand has been ruthless. It depends id Baylors trio all show up. Whitaker is not bad she just can't shoot like Haynie. Baylor is quicker. |

Gee, did I offend?
OK, I'll say it: With just a few exceptions, women's sports bore the ass right off me. I'd rather watch paint dry. Women's basketball is especially boring. I admit that I'm not a big basketball fan in general, but below-the-rim hoops is BORING! I'd rather watch pee-wee football.
Yeah, yeah, yeah - women's basketball is more fundamentally sound than men's ball. So what - boring is boring. With one or two exceptions, women's hoops (and women's sports in general) is subsidized by men's sports. Why? Because it's boring!
I'm sure I'll regret being so candid, but...oh well. |

Swass, I'd send Bethany over there to kick your ass, but I am afraid you might enjoy that too much. _________________

Swass,
I don't think its boring at all. Having playing division I basketball I have much respect for the game and the women that participate and enjoy following it. This time I think you should keep your thoughts to yourself. |

No, you did not offend. So, be Mr. Pro Wanna be, you probably suffer from an inflated ego or just a simple case of attention deficit(dry paint huh-sure you did'nt sniff all of it?) Maybe, you don't have respect for anyone but your self, since you chimed into a positve conversation where you know nothing about the womens game or you are candidly rude |

Welllll...that would be a first. I didn't expect my opinion to be popular with some, but I suspect there are many who agree with me. In my defense, my attitude toward women's sports represents the only chauvinistic bone in my body. |

"So, be Mr. Pro Wanna be,"
An average woman collegiate athlete could probably kick my ass in any sport they choose. Fortunately for me, that's not germane to the issue.
I don't need to "know" anything about it to decide I don't like it. I don't know anything about fencing, either, but I have no desire to watch it.
You sure have made a lot of unfounded assumptions about me based on my dislike for women's basketball. |

Then don't come into the womens lounge and make personal comments towards womens sports. |

| My comments were not personal; you made them personal. However, your comments about me are still baseless and unfounded. |

For the record, I think all cheerleaders can slowly go away. Ok, in High School, they get the crowd going. And only rarely at college games do they really affect what the students are chanting. Usually during timeouts and stuff. By the time you get to the professional sports, they are useless. They are just movement on the sidelines. (I guess I'm basing my observations on football.)
I can't stand cheerleaders.
Women's tennis does kick ass. Fast paced, hard hitting and full of action. Good shizz.
And I think there's certain sports that women should be able to compete against men in... such as... bowling, pool, I know there's a couple more that I can't think of right now, but they are the sports where they seem to be able to compete at the same level. Maybe golf in good time. I thought it was great when Sorenstam played against the men. _________________ http://www.airtimewatersports.com
