My big goal this year is to grab EVERYTHING. I want to start with grabbing my backrolls. What is the best/easiest grab to do on a backroll? I was thinking in terms of an indy, stalefish or tail. What do y'all think? Got any advice?

Those are all good grabs for backroll. Indy tantrums are good. WAKEGIRL i'd go for a method on your scarecrow to start with, and indy for backrolls. I've been trying to grab everything also the one thing i've had to work on to get consistent is taking the trick up and then grabbing to initiate the rotation, it's far less effort when grabbing to rotate. Start your cut closer to the wake and make sure you ride it to the lip and commit to the grab. It takes some adjusting. The cut and pop is really alot different. Once you learn them you can take them bigger, like occasionaly i can sneak a full throttle Indy Tantrum but I miss those alot when i go big. centriphical force is a bitch. Good luck!

I think method or nose grabs are super easy on back rolls, especially off the double up, same thing with scarecrows. If you wanna grab indy on a back roll you should practice Mexican rolls, cuz the rotation is similar. Make sure you grab all your spins as well

I really dont think Indy back rolls look all that cool...just for the record, I CANT do one, so Im not sure if its one of those tricks that feel stylie when you do them.

As far as grabbed back rolls go, I think that nose grabbed back rolls look wicked.

yeah in the faction, shaun murray did a sweet nosegrab backroll off the d-up
I was wondering though, wouldn't grabbing it nose bring you into a roll to revert?

not if your name is PARKS.....

You are correct the first thing people try to do to land a roll to revet is let go with the front hand....finish the roll first then let go with your front hand, the boat will pull you around for the 180....
