Im dying to get another one...whats the deal with width? How do you know how wide you want it to be?

Thanks, J

All subjective. Depends on your style of skating and the size of your feet somewhat. Obviously if you have small feet you're gonna want a small board, somewhere around 7 1/2".

If you're more into vert/big air skating you'll probably want a wide board with little concave, that'll help you get good boost & keep the board on ya. If you're into street & flip tricks you may consider something a bit more slim with a lotta concave so you got a good corner you flick with your foot.

Like jester said it is personal preference. I personally ride 7.5's, my friend used to ride an 8.25 or 8.5 I can't remember, it was huge. Anyway, it kicked ass for pool sessions but if you took it to the street it was just too big and HEAVY.

It's up to you really exactly like Jester Said. If possible in your area. Go to a shop and stand on a few different width's to find out what size and that your comfortable on.

yeah it's personal preference if you ride vert though you'll brobably want a wider board such as an 8 or 7 and 3 quarters.
