My friend and I go dirtbiking at this place, its like under powerlines but its just dirt and tall grass. Since its dirt and hilly, this one spot floods in some drizzle or light rain. In a decent storm, It'll get about 4-6 inches deep but I could shovel it deeper when it is dry. Its about 30 feet long and 8 or 10 feet wide. I will get my friend to pull me with a dirtbike and Ill probably hit it on a wakeskate. What kind of slider should I build? I was thinking like a 10 foot flat bar that is semi removable. Like put PVC pipes in the ground and then have the main assembly just drop into those holes so I could pull it out and throw it into the tall grass so nobody screws around with it. Any ideas??
that sounds good but one thing I would make sure to do is make it slope into the water. Hitting sliders on a skate is sketchy. My friend tore up his skate catching the front edge of the PVC. I would design the PVC to dip into the water in case something doesn't go as planned. Other than that your plan sounds pretty good.
Also keep in mind that you're probably not going to have enough speed or constant speed so it'll be more difficult than hitting a slider behind the boat. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone.
