i have had many friends who like lib techs but personally i think id rather have a normal wood deck. the pros of libs are they slide fast, are strong, dont where down fast. i have heard tho that they lose pop after a while because they dont break, also they may delaminate. i like the feel of a normal wood deck better its just opinion.

I ride a libtech right now and I don't really like it. Just it turns out it's hard to break it so I have an excuse to get a new board. The thing I don't like about them being so strong is if you come down have on it and land funny on your ankle, and the board probably should break but it doesn't, then you have a nice sprained ankle for a while. They also have really shitty pop and a weird feel.

I have had a LibTech before. Still have it as a matter of fact-too hard to break. They slide super fast, but the pop is lousy. It feels soft, and doesn't have the buck like a good old fashioned wood deck. The only deck I've ever had to replace grip on...

Any board will break it's all in foot placement. If your feet are in the right place the board will not break.

79nawteak, some boards break more easily. but ya if you land on the bolts boards shouldnt break but it shouldnt break super easy even if you land wrong either.
