i have seen clips of shaun maurray doing an osmosis 540 off a kicker...how do you do an osmosis 360? is it as simple as pulling hard and rotating fast? or are their a more spcific way? and can this be done off a wake? |

| yes it can be done off the wake. The reason you don't see them done is that when you pass from your back hand & regrab the handle with the same hand it negates 360 and takes it to 540. You could slow it down and stop your rotation, but personally if it's gonna be osmosis it had better be at least 540. Just think about it, you'll see the technicality of what i'm saying. |

I suppose you could do an osmosis 3, as long as it was backside. Since in an osmosis trick you are supposed to let go and catch with the same hand--Hence why people do fs 540s(let go and catch with same hand). I agree with what Stephan said about making it a 540 anyway though. I also believe that if you are good enough to do an osmosis trick, you are probably good enough to do the 540.
Oh ya, i wish i could tell you how to do it, but i don't have any personal experience wtih that. Sorry
Good Luck! |

| It is simply pulling and basically gaining on the boat. Unfortunately, it's not so simple. It's probably one of the harder tricks just because it's so inconsistent. |

Im not saying this from experience but rather quoting from an instructional vid that the trick was on.
Basically as you go up in the air and reach your peak you need to "place" the handle in the air. Dont throw it up or down because it wont be there when you come back around. Then you need to rotate with your head, shoulders, trunk and hips and that should bring you round in time to try and find the handle.
It helps if you can be looking towards the boat as much as possible during the rotation, especially as you come round to complete the 540 so you can spot the handle as early as possible. _________________

| You could do f/s osmosis too but you have to catch with the same hand you let it go with to be a true osmosis spin. |

If you threw the handle in the air then by the time you were coming down the handle would still be going up. Thats (apparently) one of the more common mistakes when trying it. _________________
