how hard exactly is wakeskating
i wakeboard, and next time i go to owc i want to rent a wakeskate and try to learn, but if i'm not gonna be able to learn to do it that day i don't want to waste my time at owc, because i don't get to go there very often
so do most ppl learn to ride it in a few hours _________________ ow thats gonna hurt tomorrow

if you wakeboard, you can wakeskate. By that, I mean you can at least get up and do the basics. Obviously, the cool stuff is a different story. |

I had a lot more trouble getting air on the skate, but since I skateboard/surf I don't like having my feet strapped into things so I like the wakeskate better. |

Sliding a wakeskate is alot harder than a wakeboard. Ask people who have done both. Alot of the time the board gets away from you off the kicker or on the ollie up onto the rail. Sliding a wakeboard can be easy, a skate is hard unless it is a really simple rainbow. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com

i agree with todd on that one, i can slide sliders and do kickers with my wakeboard easy, but its ALOT harder for me on my wakeskate, i can slide most of a little slider, but the hard part is coming off the side, i land it like 3 out of 10 trys, its hard, but if its off the end, its a little easier, but in general, alot harder on a wakeskate then wakeboard until you have it consistent |
