Are ollies easier on a skateboard or wakeboard?

When i ollie i bend my knees then jump. Should I be doing it this way. If not how should I do it?

On a wakeboard you want to load the tail and let the water pop you out....

Almost everything in wakeboarding requires you to use some type of leverage and line load.

the best way to get a big ollie IMO is to cut out really hard heelside. That way you have a tight line and speed. Flatten out your board and pump it. (Pretend there is a bug right under your front foot and you squash it) Then right after you pump it, just jump up. A little bit front foot to back foot but not as mucch as in skateboarding. Thats it. The reason why I pump is because if you pump it then jump, the water sorta bucks you up like hitting a little roller.

best way to think about an ollie is to think about a trampoline. ur first jump on a tramp is not high, but pump ur feet a lil bit and the water will give like the springs on a tramp, then when the time is right u pop.
