| We have a fishing boat with a 70 outboard. You may not feel up to doing this but it works well for us. Take the drain plug out for 3-4 min til the bottom fills up a few inches. Plugg it back up nice and tight. Add a few plastic totes of water or fat sacs, a driver, spotter, another person perhaps and the wake actually isnt too bad. I can get it up to about my high shin, knee area. Its not a wakeboard boat wake but it is alot better than the wake we have with no weight at all. |

| Flooding your hull (taking the plug out) really isn't a great idea. Although your outboard could probably handle it just fine, there are better ways to make your wake bigger. Sand, waterbed mattresses, lead, cement, etc. You don't want to have 500# of water sloshing around from front to back, side to side, etc. It will make your boat handle like crap. |
