Does anyone know for sure if Fox is bringing Family Guy back?? They have had two marathons now and I have heard some rumors floating around... That show is so F-in funny, I thought they never should have cancelled it. I think it was just way to ahead of its time.

ok, here's the fix:

Family Guy is officially back. Fox is fully backing it this time, as many as 35 new episodes will air beginning this coming May 2005. Seth Macfarlane already has about 7 scripts fully finished with a bunch of the audio and animatics already completed.

All of the original voice actors are back including Seth Green, Mila Kunis, and Alex Borstein.

There is a soundtrack CD coming out in a few months as well as a possible revised box set. There are still talks of a straight to DVD Family Guy movie which will coincide with several episodes on TV. It will be a conclusion type of thing.

Seth Macfarlane has long term plans for Family Guy. He said "I honestly see this going for a long time, at least 5 more full seasons. This is the tip of the iceberg for Family Guy. I don't want to take it past 9 seasons though."

As for American Dad, it is set to premiere directly after the Super Bowl in February 2005 on Fox.

listen2cky, i remember watching family guy when i was a kid and it was funny and all but you didn't really get the humor. Now when I watch it its like the most hilarious thing ever. I don't get how as kids we don't see the underlying dark humors.

Ren and Stimpy was another good one. Thought it was just a simple cartoon as a kid, but looking at it now -- messed up.

wake_boy, yeah no duh. (Not bragging, but) I probably know more about family guy and what is going on than 99% of anyone. I've been a huge fan since the first time it was on TV after the superbowl. If you have a question about FG, chances are I can answer it.

Wish Upon a Weinstien. They needed an accountant, (Jew) because Chris was bad at math and Peter thought if he had him converted to Judaism he'd be better.

I love that episode. Volcano insurance:)

BTW, i own both box sets so i've seen every episode at least 5 times, some as many as 20.

I think the one episode of when they went to the deep south is the all time best. Ive seen it 30 times at least. I got all the dvds.
