Hey, I have a 96 and my wake is identical to a wakesetter now that I have the wedge. However, I am pretty sure you can't put them on anything older than a 1995. But you can call malibu and ask. Just go to www.malibuboats.com and click "about us" then "contact us" _________________ www.ten-80.com |

yeah - that's what my buddy did, he had an older malibu. he called the dealer and they hooked him up, it was kinda expensive though - i will have to ask him how much it cost. yep - go to a malibu dealer. _________________ Worrying is a lot like a rocking chair, its something to do...but it won't get you anywhere. |

I've heard in forums and others that only Malibu will sell you the plate to attach the wedge to and they will insist (for liability reasons) their service shops/dealers do the install.
count on $1000 for the parts and $200+ to install. _________________ Visit my DIY Projects

I bought mine from the dealer and installed it myself. That was about 4 years ago and it was 650 bucks for the wedge and plate. I did have to provide my hull id to malibu.
As long as you have an SV23 or an SV23 Diamond hull you should be fine, but double check with Malibu. I know people are still doing their own installs cause I just got an email from someone who was doing it about two weeks ago and gave him some tips. |
