For any of you DVD mastering and video editing pros: Is it worth it to just bite the bullet and buy Apple Quicktime Pro?

It claims to be a great one-stop shop video conversion utility. I am starting to hear this claim elsewhere, like on TechTV and other outlets. I was thinking about grabbing it today. Is it worth it or am I just buying into marketing hype?

It seems to be great for n00bs like me who need/want to be able to convert items to other file formats and framerate/effect and little details like that. I have ULead Pro for the heavy lifting, but wanted to grab Quicktime for some of the other stuff...

Any thoughts?

Thanks very much,
Erik

I love premier because it integrates with other adobe products perfectly. and best of all, you don't need anymore than the premier, where in other programs, in order to encode this, or edit this, you have to have a completley other program. i like it, anybody else have any input? why don't you download the trial version from www.adobe.com . thats what i did first. then you can try it out.

Erik-
What exactly do you want to do with QTPro? Last time I checked it was only $30 so that's a lot cheaper than Premier, but I don't think you are thinking of the right product. Hit me up with some more details and I'll try to help you out!
