Ok, so I flew down to California to stay with some friends and we decided to go to Lake Anderson for the day. Holy Crap... the lake is tiny, and they let over 100 boats, pardon, watercraft on the lake, what are they thinking, I have never been more scared for my life. Boats going this way, boats going that way, i swear, we were the only people that stuck to the Counter Clockwise deal. And another thing, I am not bragging here at all, but what made me really jealous was how i saw two people even clear the wake out there, but everyone still had a new MasterCraft, Malibu, Centurion or various other sick wakeboarding boats (i was on a Sanga {sp?}...owned by people that cant do stuff), i think i was the only person on that lake that was doing flips, or even 180s for that matter, not to mention 3s, i dunno, i am probably going to get a ton of stuff for writing this, but seriously, its just not fair! i ride behind a 16 bayliner capri, and for weight, we try and fill it with as many people as we can, everyone else is just "oh, let me crank up the ballast tanks so you can get another six inches, maybe even a foot!" ARGH!!!!!
OK, i am done.... _________________ umm, i farted on your mom |

Just because someone has a nice boat doesn't mean they have to be a good wakeboarder. It was their job/income that enabled the purchase not their ability. _________________

Themeafingman, #1, you were there on a Sunday...what do you expect for a small lake in the heart of one of the largest Metro. areas in the U.S.?? And, if you would've been out there on a weekday morning, you would've had a whole lake of glass, and a handful of local rippers that would've made you look like a beginner...
You should've gone to the Delta if you wanted good water, and wanted to get shown how to ride. |

well going to anderson was your first mistake....
and yeah, owning a nice boat doesnt mean you actually have to be good. it means that you have put in your time at the workplace and can afford toys such as boats, trucks and wakeboards... _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

Serious, scott and k-dub got it right. Go on a weekday and you will see the local rippers. Why would anyone with any logic go to anderson on a weekend, its useless... drive the extra hour to grant line and get glass on a weekend in the delta. I would much rather be jealous of an older guy that had to work and buy a boat that has no skills than some punk kid that can ride behind his daddy's SANTE everyday after school and then treat you like crap when you ask for some advice. Wake size is pretty important to a point(hows your switch?, TS, etc.). If you had ridden at the delta you might be talking a little different. One "vessel" out there is a faded yellow ~18ft TRI HULL with a roll bar, yet these guys can seriously throw down. _________________ Hold up....Wait a minute.... Let me put some pimpin in it! mmmmph |

| Liquidmx, I know the tri-hull you speak of. They were out on Sunday killing it as usual. |

Themeafingman, ever heard the expression patting yourself on the back? or tooting your own horn?
Anderson and Calero are both less than 30 min from my house... i choose to drive over an hour to go to the Delta...

Liquidmx, don't ride....moto-x that is. My initials are K.W. as well.
-I don't know who those guys are, but I see them out almost every weekend. They keep thier boat right there in Disco, near the marina off of River Lake...that's about all I know of them. |
