04 LF balance or team?

A local shop is having an end of season sale and their still in plastic 04 boards are on sale. I am having a hell of a time deciding which board to go with and I was wondering if anyone could give me a little info on the difference in feel between the teams continuous and the balance 3 stage rocker. and also if $260 is a good deal for eithter of these boards.

I would get the team

Team: smoother fast board less straight up pop softer landings

Balance: harder landings fast board not a smouth ride more STRAIGHT UP POP

that is my opinion

Team doesn't have much pop at all IMO. Balance has somewhat similar pop as the Substance.

i have the balance and think it is awesome. it has so much more pop than any other board i have ever ridden. i have never riden teh team so i cant commment on it

I have never rode the Team, but have rode and am currently riding a Balance and love it. It is real quick and responsive for how wide it is but has excellent pop. Just learned how to do a toeside roll to revert on it last week.
